ANALISIS KEBERLANJUTAN SOSIAL, EKONOMI DAN LINGKUNGAN PROGRAM ELECTRIFYING AGRICULTURE PADA USAHATANI PADI DI DESA SARI MULYO KECAMATAN SELUMA KABUPATEN SELUMA
The Electrifying Agriculture (EA) program is a government initiative aimed at improving agricultural productivity and efficiency through the utilization of electrical energy in the agricultural sector. This study aims to analyze farmers’ participation, changes in income, and the sustainability of rice farming following the implementation of the Electrifying Agriculture program in Sari Mulyo Village, Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency. The research employed a survey method involving 30 farmer respondents, with participation analyzed using a scoring method, income analyzed through calculations of revenue and production costs, and sustainability assessed using a modified Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries (Rapfish) approach adapted for the agricultural sector across social, economic, and environmental dimensions. The results indicate that farmers’ participation is generally low, particularly in decision-making aspects, while the program has significantly increased farmers’ income despite higher production costs. Multidimensional sustainability analysis shows that rice farming falls into the moderately sustainable category, with social and environmental dimensions being moderately sustainable, whereas the economic dimension remains less sustainable, indicating the need for increased farmer participation and strengthened economic aspects to support the long-term sustainability of rice farming.
