PENENTUAN LOKASI OPTIMAL DAN PEMETAAN SPASIAL TEMPAT PEMBUANGAN SEMENTARA SAMPAH DI KECAMATAN KEMUNING KOTA PALEMBANG BERBASIS MODEL CAPACITATED SET COVERING PROBLEM
The waste problem in Palembang City is an important issue that must be addressed, as the increasing population will lead to an increase in the amount of waste. Environmental and Cleanliness Department Palembang City provides Temporary Waste Disposal Sites (TWDS) that must be owned in each location. This research aims to optimize the location of TWDS in the Kemuning Sub-district Palembang City by formulating the Set Covering Location Problem (SCLP) model and the Capacitated Set Covering Problem (CSCP) model using the help of LINGO 21.0 software. The results of the solution using the SCLP model obtained 13 optimal TWDS locations, while with the CSCP model obtained 23 optimal TWDS locations. The optimal locations for these TWDS were mapped using the aid of Geographic Information System (GIS). This research recommends the CSCP model as the optimal solution for the location of TWDS in Kemuning Sub-district Palembang City.
