DIGIMIC: DIGITAL COMIC BERBASIS ESD PADA MATERI PERUBAHAN LINGKUNGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

This study aims to develop DIGIMIC, a digital comic learning media based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on environmental change topic for fifth-grade elementary school students and to examine the development procedures, validity level, teacher and student responses, and the effectiveness of the media in improving scientific literacy. The study used a research and development method with the ADDIE model. The results showed that the developed media demonstrated very high validity based on the assessment of media experts (95.45%), material experts (90.5%), and practitioners (96%). Student responses were highly positive at both the one-to-one (96.30%) and small-group (88.9%) evaluation stages. The effectiveness test through N-gain analysis yielded a value of 0.80, indicating a high level of effectiveness. Therefore, it can be concluded that the DIGIMIC: an ESDbased Digital Comic is valid, practical, effective, and suitable for improving the scientific literacy of fifth-grade elementary school students.
