PERENCANAAN REDUCE DERIVED FUEL PLANT PADA TEMPAT PEMROSESAN AKHIR SEMUNTUL KABUPATEN BANYUASIN

Domestic waste is the main contributor to the waste dumped in landfills. The volume of waste generated exceeds the capacity of the existing landfills, namely the Terlangu and Duren Ijo landfills. Several sub-districts in Banyuasin Regency still do not have waste transportation services to the landfill. Areas that have limited access to the existing landfills tend to divert waste to the Sukawinatan landfill in Palembang City due to more adequate access. Thus, the construction of a new landfill is needed in Banyuasin Regency. This planned waste final processing site uses RDF technology. This study plans an RDF Plant at the Semuntul site, Banyuasin Regency, along with the required Budget Plan. Estimated RDF production in 2022 is 186.40 tons per day, and increases to 223.78 tons per day in 2035. Based on the analysis results, the estimated cost of building a fresh waste processing building into RDF is Rp12,483,121,672.98. The budget plan for the landfilled waste processing building into RDF is Rp96,888,004.23. The total cost required to build this RDF plant is Rp29,369,954,662.24, with a building area of 9,375 m2.
