PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS VIDEO TUTORIAL PERAWATAN MESIN BUBUT

This study aims to develop video tutorial-based learning media on lathe machine maintenance materials and to determine its validity and practicality. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research subjects were students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program who had taken the maintenance course. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to material experts, media experts, and students. Data analysis was conducted using percentage techniques. The validation results showed that the learning media obtained a score of 94% from material experts and 93% from media experts, both categorized as very valid. The individual trial results showed a practicality score of 92%, while the small group trial obtained a score of 85%, both categorized as very practical. Based on these results, the video tutorial-based learning media for lathe machine maintenance is considered valid and practical, and therefore suitable to be used as a supporting learning medium to improve students’ understanding and learning interest in the maintenance course.
