PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN E-MODUL INTERAKTIF TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR LIFE SKILL SISWA PAKET C DI PKBM HARAPAN KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR

Yansyah, Deri - Personal Name;

Equivalency education in developing countries faces persistent challenges in improving adult learners' life skill competencies, partly due to reliance on conventional printed learning materials. This study investigated whether the use of interactive e-modules significantly affects life skill learning outcomes among Package C (Paket C) learners at a Community Learning Activity Centre (PKBM) in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia. A quantitative correlational design was employed with a total population sample of 49 learners. Data were collected via two validated Likert-scale questionnaires: the Interactive E-Module Use instrument (20 items; α = .950) and the Life skill Learning Outcomes instrument covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains (16 items; α = .945). Ordinal data were converted to interval scale using the Method of Successive Intervals prior to analysis. Prerequisite tests confirmed normality (Shapiro-Wilk; p > .05) and linearity. Simple linear regression yielded the equation Y = 20,468 + 0.384X. Hypothesis testing confirmed a significant positive effect of e-module use on life skill outcomes (t = 4,818; p < .001), with the e-module accounting for 33.1% of outcome variance (R² = .331). These findings demonstrate that interactive e-modules are an effective and context-appropriate digital learning tool for non-formal adult education, with implications for equivalency education policy and practice in the Global South. Keywords: interactive e-module; life skill; non-formal education; adult learning; equivalency education
