PERAN TRUST TERHADAP SELF CONCEALMENT PADA LAKI-LAKI

This study aims to examine the role of trust in self-concealment among men. The hypothesis of this study is that trust plays a role in self-concealment. The study population consists of men. A total of 303 participants were involved, with 50 selected for the pilot study using incidental sampling. The measurement instruments used were based on the self-concealment dimension scale according to the theory of Larson and Chastain (2021), as well as the trust scale based on the dimensions developed by Rotenberg (2010). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results of the analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with an R-squared value of 0.261, indicating that the dimensions of trust significantly influence self-concealment, with an effective contribution of 26.01%. These findings support the research hypothesis and indicate that trust contributes to reducing self concealment in men. Keyword: Self Concealment, Trust
