PENGARUH MEDIA POHON PINTAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL KONSEP BILANGAN ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN DI TK MUTHIAH ISLAMIC SCHOOL KAYUAGUNG

This research is motivated by the low knowledge of children regarding the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years. The purpose of this research is to see whether there is an influence of smart tree media on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method (pre-experimental) through a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 16 children in group A at TK Muthih Islamic School Kayuagung who were selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through structured observation using written tests, namely checklist sheets and LKPD which were arranged based on indicators of recognizing the concept of numbers. Data analysis includes validity, reliability, normality tests and hypothesis tests using t-tests. The results of the normality test show that the data is normally distributed (x² count ≤ x² table). Decision making hypothesis analysis t-test if the result of t count ≥ t table then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So the conclusion is drawn t count ≥ t table (4.38 ≥ 1.75) so it can be said that the calculation of Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the use of the Smart Tree media is hereby declared to have a significant influence on the ability to recognize number concepts in 4-5 year old children at the Muthiah Islamic School Kindergarten in Kayuagung. Furthermore, this media also supports the development of fine motor skills, social-emotional skills, language skills, as well as religious and moral aspects of children.
