KARAKTERISTIK INOVASI SISTEM INFORMASI KEARSIPAN DINAMIS TERINTEGRASI (SRIKANDI) PADA BAGIAN TATALAKSANA BIRO ORGANISASI SEKRETARIAT DAERAH PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

This study examine the characteristic of the Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System (SRIKANDI) innovation at the Administration Section of the Organizational Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of South Sumatera Province. This study uses five characteristics of innovation by Everett M. Rogers using a qualitative approach through interviews, documentation, and observation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the dimensions of trialability and observability play a role in shaping the maximum adoption rate. On the other hand, the dimensions of relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity tend to show negative perceptions indicating that the use of SRIKANDI has not been fully felt to its full potential, indicated by the dependence on paper based processes, incompatibility with work procedurs, and the high level of complexity in understanding and operating SRIKANDI. This study produces practical implications in the form of recommendations: (1) internalization of a paperless culture; (2) strengthening the commitment of leaders in conducting supervision to encourage consistent adoption of SRIKANDI; and (3) enhancing human resource capacity through continuous technical training.
