PENGARUH PENERAPAN ANALISIS JABATAN TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DI BIRO ORGANISASI SEKRETARIAT DAERAH PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
This study aims to analyse the effect of job analysis implementation on employee performance at the Organisational Bureau of the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat. This study is quantitative in nature with an associative (causal) approach. The research analysis utilises Sedarmayanti's (2019) theory, which consists of two main dimensions: job description and job specification. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression with the assistance of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) programme. The results of the study indicate that the application of job analysis has an effect on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat's Organisation Bureau of the Provincial Secretariat of South Sumatra. This is evidenced by the t-test results showing a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a coefficient of determination of 0.449, meaning that job analysis can explain 44.9% of the variation in employee performance, while the remainder is influenced by factors outside the research model. This study recommends several things, namely fulfilling human resource needs as required, reviewing job descriptions, and paying attention to the suitability of job specifications.
