PENGARUH KAPASITAS DIGITAL PEGAWAI TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PEMBARUAN DATA DALAM SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN KEPEGAWAIAN (SIMPEG)(STUDI PADA SEKRETARIAT DAERAH PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN)
This study aims to analyze the extent to which employee digital capacity influences the effectiveness of personnel data updates through the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) within the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat. In this study, employee digital capacity is measured using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach, which includes the dimensions of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention, and Actual System Use. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of SIMPEG data updates is evaluated through the aspects of information quality, system quality, service quality, intention to use, user satisfaction, and net benefits that support the civil service data update process. This study used a quantitative method with an associative (causal) approach. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression with the help of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The results of the study indicate that digital capacity has an influence on the level of effectiveness of data updates in SIMPEG. In addition, it was also found that respondents with employees of middle productive age, higher education levels, and longer experience as administrators tended to have more optimal utilization of SIMPEG. Thus, this study confirms that the digital capacity of employees is an important factor in improving the effectiveness of personnel data updates in the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) within the South Sumatra Provincial Secretariat. Continuous improvement of digital capacity through training, technical assistance, and equal distribution of SIMPEG management responsibilities are strategic steps to optimize personnel administration performance.
