PENERAPAN METODE WEIGHTED PRODUCT DAN ADDITIVE RATIO ASSESSMENT PADA ALOKASI RUMAH SAKIT OPTIMAL DENGAN LAYANAN UNIT EMERGENCY DI KOTA PALEMBANG
This study discusses the optimal allocation of hospitals with emergency units in Palembang City using Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods such as Weighted Product (WP) and Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS). The objective of this study is to determine the optimal hospitals with emergency units in each subdistrict based on six criteria, namely service level, number of specialist doctors, travel distance, travel time, transportation costs, and hospital class. The results show that the two methods produce different recommendations for optimal hospitals in several subdistricts. The WP method tends to highlight hospitals with specific advantages in certain criteria, while ARAS provides more stable and proportional results through normalization and assessment of proximity to the ideal solution. Based on these results, the ARAS method is recommended as a more appropriate approach in determining referral hospitals for emergency units in Palembang City because it is able to produce a more equitable and representative allocation of overall criteria performance.
