SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN OPERATOR SELULER TERBAIK DI KELURAHAN TIMBANGAN INDRALAYA UTARA MENGGUNAKAN KOMBINASI METODE SWARA DAN COPRAS

Mobile network operator services play a crucial role in fulfilling the internet needs of the public. However, the large number of available options and the variety of packages often make it difficult for users to choose a suitable operator. This issue is experienced by students as newcomers in Timbangan Village, North Indralaya District, due to limited information regarding the quality of operator services in the area. This condition leads to difficulties in selecting an operator that matches users’ needs and network quality. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System by integrating the Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) method for criteria weighting and the Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method for alternative ranking. The results show that signal speed is the most important criterion with a weight of 0.346, and the COPRAS method is able to produce the best operator ranking for each research location. Testing conducted on 45 respondents using the Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) aspects shows that the system is categorized as “Highly Acceptable,” indicating that the system is useful and easy to use in selecting mobile network operators.
