ANALISIS PARTIAL DISCHARGE PADA KUBIKEL 20 KV TD#3 MENGGUNAKAN METODE TRANSIENT EARTH VOLTAGE (TEV) BERDASARKAN STANDAR IEC TS 62478 DI GARDU INDUK KERAMASAN
Partial discharge (PD) is a disturbance in the insulation system of medium-voltage equipment that can reduce the reliability of electrical distribution systems. This study aims to analyze partial discharge activity in the 20 kV TD#3 cubicle at Keramasan Substation using the Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) method based on the IEC TS 62478:2016 standard. The measurement was conducted online without system shutdown on several components, including cable box, upper busbar, and circuit breaker (PMT) of Incoming TD#3, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Seribu feeders during February–March 2026. The results showed that most components had TEV values ranging from 4–13 dB and PPC values of 0.00–2.67, indicating a low category. In February 2026, an increase in pulse activity was detected in the cable box of Incoming TD#3 with a PPC value of 153.87 pulse/cycle, which was potentially related to cable connection and shielding conditions. After maintenance was performed, the March measurement results showed a decrease in pulse activity and a more stable signal pattern. The results indicate that the TEV method can detect partial discharge activity online and support the implementation of condition-based maintenance in electrical distribution systems
