PERAN KELOMPOK WANITA TANI PADA INOVASI OLAHAN PANGAAN LOKAL SUKUN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN KELUARGA DI DESA SUNGAI PINANG KECAMATAN RAMBUTAN BANYUASIN
In an effort to strengthen and improve household economic capacity, the Women Farmers Group of Sungai Pinang Village has received flexibility and support from the Banyuasin Regency Government through a Local Food Processing Program based on breadfruit flour production. This initiative has made Sungai Pinang Village the only village in Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, that processes breadfruit flour within Women Farmers Group activities.This study aims to: (1) identify the role of the Women Farmers Group in breadfruit-based local food processing innovation in increasing farmers’ household income; (2) calculate the income contribution of the Women Farmers Group from breadfruit-based local food processing activities to household income; and (3) analyze the relationship between the role of the Women Farmers Group and the increase in farmers’ household income through breadfruit-based local food processing innovation. Data were collected from November to December 2025. The sampling method used was simple random sampling, and based on the Slovin formula, 30 Women Farmers Group members were selected as respondents. The data consisted of primary and secondary data. Data analysis methods included scoring analysis to address the first objective, income contribution analysis for the second objective, and Spearman rank correlation analysis for the third objective. The results showed that the role of the Women Farmers Group in relation to household income was categorized as moderate, with an income contribution of 1,43%. In addition, there was a significant relationship between the role of the Women Farmers Group and farmers’ household income, with a correlation coefficient of 0.017 and a score of 0.431* for the role of the Women Farmers Group.
