APLIKASI GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES PADA USAHATANI PADI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS DAN MENDUKUNG KEAMANAN PANGAN BERAS DI DESA ARISAN DERAS KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
This study is important because rice is a staple food commodity for the community; therefore, increasing productivity and ensuring rice food safety are important concerns. Arisan Deras Village, rice farming is one of the dominant agricultural activities. However, the implementation level of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) has not been clearly identified. This study aimed to analyze the level of GAP implementation, the factors affecting rice farming productivity, and rice food safety in Arisan Deras Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used was a survey method with descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression involving 61 farmer respondents. The results showed that the level of GAP implementation was in the moderate category, with an average score of 55.12, consisting of the initial stage score of 22.30, the process stage score of 24.36, and the final stage score of 8.48. The factors that significantly affected rice productivity were farming experience, Urea fertilization, pest and disease control, and post-harvest handling. Meanwhile, the level of rice food safety was also categorized as moderate, with an average score of 12,87. The factors that significantly affected rice food safety included extension services, certified superior varieties, seed quality, pest and disease control based on monitoring, and post-harvest handling. Overall, the implementation of GAP plays an important role in supporting increased productivity and rice food safety in rice farming.
