PENGARUH INTENSITAS PELATIHAN TENAGA KERJA TERHADAP PENCAPAIAN TARGET PRODUKSI TANDAN BUAH SEGAR (TBS) KELAPA SAWIT PADA PT TUNAS BARU LAMPUNG TBK BANYUASIN
Human resources are an important factor in the success of the agribusiness system, especially in the production subsystem. In oil palm agribusiness, the achievement of the production target of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) is greatly influenced by the quality and skills of the workforce. One of the efforts to improve the quality of the workforce is through training. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the intensity of workforce training and its effect on the achievement of FFB production targets at PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk Banyuasin. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of labor training intensity, the level of achievement of FFB production targets, and analyze the influence of labor training intensity on the achievement of FFB production targets. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical analysis methods and multiple linear regression. The research population amounted to 401 workers, consisting of 312 harvesters and 89 farm employees. The sample was determined using the disproportional stratified random sampling technique with a total of 60 respondents, consisting of 30 harvesters and 30 garden employees. The research data is in the form of primary data obtained through questionnaires and secondary data in the form of the company's FFB production target and realization in the December period. Training intensity is measured through three variables, namely the frequency of training, the duration of training, and the depth of the training material. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the variable intensity of labor training was in the high category, with an average value of training frequency of 4.0625, training duration of 4.0125, and quality of training material of 4.35. These results show that the implementation of workforce training in the company has gone well and is felt to be adequate by the respondents, both in terms of frequency, duration, and quality of the training materials provided. The achievement of FFB production targets is analyzed based on a comparison between the target and production realization. The company's FFB production target is 19,405 tons and the production realization until December 18 is 15,153 tons, so that the production target achievement rate is 78.09% which is included in the medium category. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the intensity of labor training had a positive and significant effect on the achievement of FFB production targets, with the regression equation being Y = -5.874 + 0.224X₁ + 0.322X₂ + 0.184X₃. This shows that increasing the intensity of workforce training increases the achievement of FFB production targets. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.629 indicates that 62.9% of the variation in FFB production target achievement can be explained by these three variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously improve the quality of training to support the production performance and competitiveness of palm oil agribusiness companies.
