AKURASI PENILAIAN RISIKO PERDARAHAN AWHONN DALAM MEMPREDIKSI PERDARAHAN PASCA SALIN DI RS DR MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Background: Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) accounts for 25% of annual maternal deaths. Postpartum risk assessment tool for PPH from The Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) can predict PPH from maternal admission status, although the use of the tool has not been studied in Palembang. Objective: This study aims to examine the role of AWHONN risk assessment tool in predicting PPH in Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital. Methods: This study is prospective cohort prognostication utilizing AWHONN risk assessment tool conducted at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital, Palembang between September 2025 and March 2026. Sampling was conducted through consecutive sampling, involving 110 with 5 drop out samples. Total 105 patients was involved in this study. The initial AWHONN score was assessed and patients followed up for 24 hours to determine AWHONN risk assessment tool's ability to predict primary PPH. Results: PPH occurred in 17.14% of subjects. PPH subjects were older (35.17 ± 5.07 years vs. 31.28 ± 6.30 years; p = 0.016). Subjects in the high-risk group based on AWHONN were more likely to experience PPH than those with intermediate and low risk (50% vs. 17.95% vs. 2.17%; p
