RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM HIBRIDA PLTB SAVONIUS-DARRIEUS DAN PLTS SKALA PROTOTIPE
The increasing demand for electrical energy has encouraged the utilization of renewable energy sources as an alternative to fossil fuels. This study aims to design, construct, and analyze the performance of a hybrid system that combines a Savonius-Darrieus Wind Power Plant (PLTB) and a Solar Power Plant (PLTS). The testing was conducted using load variations of 5 W, 10 W, and 15 W, with data collected every 15 minutes from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM. The observed parameters included voltage, current, power, wind speed, rotational speed (RPM), torque, light intensity, and temperature. The test results showed that the Darrieus turbine produced a maximum power output of 1.1004 W at a wind speed of 3.6 m/s, while the Savonius turbine generated a maximum power output of 0.7406 W at a wind speed of 3.4 m/s. In the hybrid PLTB-PLTS system, the highest output power was achieved under a 15 W load, reaching 85.1869 W with a voltage of 22.06 V and a current of 3.86 A. The results also indicate that the solar power system contributed more dominantly to the overall power generation, while the wind power system functioned as a supporting energy source whose performance was influenced by variations in wind speed.
