KEMAMPUAN COMPUTATIONAL THINKING PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IX DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL NUMERASI MATERI SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL
Computational Thinking is a cognitive process used to identify problems and design solutions that can be effectively solved. This study aims to describe the Computational Thinking abilities of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 58 Palembang in solving numeracy problems on the topic of Two-Variable Linear Equation Systems (SPLDV). This research employed a descriptive method with data collection techniques consisting of tests and interviews. Data were collected through Computational Thinking tests, and the results were categorized into low, medium, and high levels. The study sample consisted of 19 ninth-grade students, and 4 students were selected for interviews to gain deeper insights into how they solved problems based on their ability categories. The results indicated that students in the low category demonstrated only one Computational Thinking indicator, students in the medium category demonstrated 2–3 indicators, while students in the high category were able to fulfill all Computational Thinking indicators.
