This study was motivated by students low interest and ability in writing explanatory texts and the limited use of interactive digital learning media at SMK Negeri 2 Palembang. In addition, the lack of integration of South Sumatra local wisdom made the learning less contextual. This study aimed to develop and determine the feasibility of an e-module using Flipbook Heyzine based on local wisdom. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Alessi & Trollip model, which includes planning, design, and development stages. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches were used. Data were collected through interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, and expert validation. The subjects were Indonesian language teachers and eleventh-grade students. The results showed a high need for the e-module, with teacher needs reaching 100% and students categorized as “needed” to “highly needed.” Expert validation results showed that the material expert score was 95%, the language expert score was 92.5%, and the media expert score was 92.5%, with an average of 93.3% categorized as “very feasible.” Therefore, the developed e-module is appropriate for use and can improve students’ interest, understanding, and writing skills.
