REPRESENTASI CULTURAL POWER INDONESIA DALAM AJANG MISS SUPRANATIONAL TAHUN 2024
This study aims to analyze how Indonesia's cultural power is represented in the Miss Supranational 2024 pageant as part of a cultural diplomacy strategy and the strengthening of soft power at the global level. This research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method through a literature review of documents, academic sources, and data related to the Miss Supranational pageant and Indonesia's cultural representation. The analytical framework is based on the concepts of soft power and cultural diplomacy, focusing on how culture, values, and communication are utilized to build a country's image in the international arena. The findings show that the victory of Indonesia's delegate, Harashta Haifa Zahra, not only represents an individual achievement but also symbolizes Indonesia's success in leveraging international platforms as a medium of cultural diplomacy. The cultural representation presented through costumes, performances, and personal narratives is able to attract global attention while conveying universal values such as diversity, tolerance, and social empathy. Furthermore, the effectiveness of cultural communication delivered through international stages and social media plays a significant role in shaping a positive perception of Indonesia.
