PENGARUH LATIHAN CIRCUIT TRAINING TERHADAP KEBUGARAN JASMANI PADA ATLET PENCAK SILAT BINAAN BANK SUMSEL BABEL
This study aimed to determine the effect of Circuit training on the physical fitness of pencak silat athletes fostered by Bank Sumsel Babel. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a one-group PreTest-PostTest approach. The research sample consisted of 30 male athletes. The Treatment in the form of a Circuit training program was conducted for 4 weeks with a training frequency of 3 sessions per week. Physical fitness measurements were carried out using the Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN) during the PreTest and PostTest. Data analysis was conducted through reliability Testing, normality Testing, and paired sample t-Test. The results of the study showed an increase in the athletes’ average physical fitness score from 3.9 in the PreTest to 4.1 in the PostTest. In addition, the calculated t-value (14.297) was higher than the t-table value (2.045), indicating that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Therefore, Circuit training had a significant effect on improving the physical fitness of pencak silat athletes fostered by Bank Sumsel Babel. The findings of this study indicate that the Circuit training program is effective as a structured training alternative and can be applied to improve the physical fitness of pencak silat athletes. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the regular implementation of Circuit training is able to significantly improve the physical fitness level of pencak silat athletes fostered by Bank Sumsel Babel, making this training program suitable for use in athlete development and performance enhancement programs.
