SISTEM REKOMENDASI PEMILIHAN LAPTOP MENGGUNAKAN KOMBINASI METODE ROC DAN MOORA
The increasing demand for laptops in the digital era is often not aligned with the ease of choosing the right specifications due to the vast variety of brands and features available in the market. This research aims to develop an objective Decision Support System (DSS) for laptop selection by integrating the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method for criteria weighting and Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) for alternative ranking. The study utilizes secondary data from the Kaggle "Laptop Dataset 2024," consisting of 955 records with five primary criteria: Price, Processor Type, RAM Capacity, Storage Capacity, and Display Size. The system development follows the web-based Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology using the Laravel framework and PostgreSQL database. The results indicate that the system was successfully implemented with 100% accuracy compared to manual calculations. Sensitivity analysis conducted through two scenarios demonstrated system responsiveness; in Scenario 1 (Price Priority), economic laptops like the Tecno Megabook T1 ranked first, while in Scenario 2 (Performance Priority), high-specification laptops such as the HP Spectre x360 and HP Omen 16 became the top recommendations. This system is expected to assist potential buyers in making laptop purchasing decisions more quickly and accurately, according to their functional needs and available budget.
