21st-century education requires students not only to master knowledge but also to possess understanding, skills, and the ability to adapt to technological developments. This study aims to demonstrate the effect of using technology-based learning media through the Educaplay platform on the understanding of economics among 11th-grade students at MAN 3 Palembang. This is an experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design with a single treatment. The research sample consisted of classes XI.11 and XI.12, totaling 58 students in the experimental and control groups. Data collection techniques included tests and observations. Data analysis was conducted using pretest and posttest results. In the control group, the t-test results showed that the calculated t-value was greater than the critical t-value, specifically 24.691 > 2.001, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). In the experimental class, the t-test results also showed that t-calculated > t-table, namely 27.588 > 2.004, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This means that the use of technology-based learning media through the Educaplay platform has an effect on the understanding of economics among students in Class XI at MAN 3 Palembang. It is recommended that students be given an initial overview of how to use Educaplay so that learning is more effective and easier to understand.
