ANALISIS PENGARUH ZAKAT, INFAK, SEDEKAH DAN WAKAF TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI 10 PROVINSI DI INDONESIA
Economic growth is measured using Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in 10 provinces in Indonesia during the period 2015–2022. This study uses a quantitative approach with a panel data regression method. Model selection was carried out using the Chow and Hausman tests, which indicated that the Fixed Effects Model was the best. The results of the study indicate that zakat and waqf positively and significantly impact regional economic growth, highlighting their crucial role. Meanwhile, Infaq and Sedekah have a positive but insignificant relationship to regional economic growth. The coefficient of determination of 0.88 indicates that the variables of zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf explain 88% of the variation in economic growth. In contrast, the remainder is explained by other variables outside the model. The results of this study indicate that Islamic philanthropic instruments, especially zakat and waqf, have an important role in driving regional economic growth. Therefore, the management and utilization of ZISWAF funds need to be continuously optimized to support sustainable and inclusive economic development.
