PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN BERBASIS CASE METHOD UNTUK MENGUKUR KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA KELAS XI DI SMA NEGERI 1 INDRALAYA UTARA

This study aimed to produce a case method-based assessment instrument to measure students’ critical thinking skills. The subjects of this study were Grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques included interviews, walkthroughs, questionnaires, and observations, while data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the feasibility test showed that the instrument was categorized as highly valid through expert judgment using the walkthrough technique, with percentages of 91.1% in the evaluation aspect, 83.7% in the material aspect, and 94.1% in the language aspect. The practicality test results in the one-to-one evaluation stage obtained a percentage of 94.4%, while the small group evaluation stage obtained 95.4%, both categorized as highly practical. The potential effect test results at the field test stage showed percentages of 84% in the first learning outcome, 86% in the second learning outcome, and 85% in the third learning outcome, which were categorized as very critical. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the case method-based assessment instrument is valid, practical, and has a potential effect on students’ critical thinking skills.
