Education is an absolute necessity in human life that plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources through the development of potential, knowledge, and skills. In the learning process, differences in learning outcomes among students are often found, influenced by various internal and external factors, including participation in tutoring as a form of learning support outside of school. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in economics learning outcomes between Grade XII students who attend and do not attend tutoring at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. The research method used is a quantitative method with a comparative approach. The population of this study was all Grade XII students, with purposive sampling technique resulting in 51 students in each group. Data were collected through tests, documentation, and interviews. The prerequisite test results indicated that the data were normally distributed but not homogeneous. Therefore, hypothesis testing was conducted using an independent two-sample t-test with unequal variance assumption (Welch test). Based on the analysis, it is concluded that there is a significant difference in economics learning outcomes between Grade XII students who attend and do not attend tutoring at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya, where students who attend tutoring have higher learning outcomes. It is recommended that teachers consider adopting the learning patterns applied by tutoring institutions as a reference to improve the learning outcomes of students who do not have access to external tutoring.
