PENGARUH PRODUKSI BIJIH NIKEL, TENAGA KERJA, DAN GROSS FIXED CAPITAL FORMATION TERHADAP EKSPOR PRODUK NIKEL INDONESIA TAHUN 2005–2024
Increasing global nickel demand driven by the development of the battery and electric vehicle industries has encouraged Indonesia to strengthen its position as one of the world’s leading nickel producers and exporters. This study aims to analyze the effect of nickel ore production, mining sector labor, and Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) on Indonesia’s nickel product exports during the 2005–2024 period. The study employs a quantitative approach using time series data obtained from BPS, ESDM, UN Comtrade, and the World Development Indicators. The analytical method applied is multiple linear regression using EViews 13. The results indicate that nickel ore production has a positive and significant effect on Indonesia’s nickel product exports. Mining sector labor has a positive but insignificant effect, while GFCF has a negative and significant effect on Indonesia’s nickel product exports. These findings suggest that Indonesia’s nickel exports are more strongly influenced by production capacity and industrialization than by increases in labor or aggregate national investment. Keywords: Exports, Nickel Ore Production, GFCF, Downstreaming.
