This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the work ethic of the Sukarami Village Government Sekayu District in improving the quality of public services. The research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling involving eight informants. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was tested through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The data analysis technique used was data reduction. The results of this study conclude that the effectiveness of the work ethic of the Sukarami Village Government Sekayu District in improving the quality of public services has shown a positive direction. However, in practice, several obstacles remain that result in inconsistencies in the quality of services received by the community, particularly related to the timeliness of service completion and the need for improved coordination among village officials
