PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, INFLASI, DAN KONSUMSI ENERGI TERBARUKAN TERHADAP INDEKS SDGS DALAM KERANGKA MAQOSHID SYARIAH: STUDI 5 NEGARA ASEAN: INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, SINGAPURA, THAILAND, DAN VIETNAM
This study aims to determine the influence of economic growth (GDP per capita), inflation, and renewable energy consumption on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index within the Maqashid Shariah framework. The scope of this research includes five ASEAN countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, using secondary data from the period of 2007–2022. The data analysis method employed is panel data regression analysis. The results of the study show that economic growth has a positive and significant effect on the SDG Index, which in the Maqashid Shariah perspective aligns with the principle of hifẓ al-māl (protection of wealth). Conversely, inflation has a negative and significant effect on the SDG Index as it erodes the real value of public wealth and purchasing power. Furthermore, renewable energy consumption was found to have a negative and significant effect on the SDG Index, suggesting that the energy transition in the ASEAN region still faces structural barriers and high initial investment costs. Simultaneously, economic growth, inflation, and renewable energy consumption significantly influence the achievement of the SDG Index in the five ASEAN countries. Keywords: Economic Growth, Inflation, Renewable Energy Consumption, SDG Index, Maqashid Syariah
