ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN INDONESIA DALAM PENCAPAIAN MEF: STUDI KASUS DAMPAK CAATSA PADA ERA KEPRESIDENAN PRABOWO SUBIANTO

This study focuses on the CAATSA policy issued by the United States regarding efforts to fulfill Indonesia's MEF during the Prabowo Subianto era by adopting Kennet Waltz's neorealism perspective as the basis for analysis in this study. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through literature study and interviews with Lieutenant Colonel Dian Diana Rahayu as Head of East and West Europe, Directorate of International Defense Cooperation, Ministry of Defense. The results of the study show that the threat of CAATSA has prompted Indonesia to adjust its strategy through the diversification of procurement partners, changes in financing schemes, and the strengthening of the national defense industry in order to maintain the sustainability of defense equipment modernization. Thus, CAATSA has not stopped the fulfillment of the MEF, but has reshaped Indonesia's defense policy to be more adaptive to global geopolitical dynamics while maintaining national strategic autonomy.
