Climate change is one of the global environmental issues that requires understanding and awareness from various parties, including in the field of education. Climate change literacy among teachers is essential for understanding educators' readiness in addressing climate change issues in the classroom. This study provides an overview of the climate change literacy profile of biology teachers in high schools in Palembang City. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 35 biology teachers from 24 high schools with accreditation categories A, B, and C in Palembang City. The research instrument used a questionnaire measuring three indicators: knowledge, attitude, and competence. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study indicate that, overall, the climate change literacy of biology teachers in high schools in Palembang City is in the medium category, amounting to 14 (40%). These findings indicate that teachers already possess knowledge, attitudes, and basic competencies related to climate change issues, but still require further reinforcement. The results of this study are expected to serve as a consideration for education policymakers in designing teacher professional development programs, particularly through training and the provision of learning resources related to climate change education.
