PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL BERBANTUAN BOOK CREATOR PADA MATERI MENULIS TEKS DESKRIPSI KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 2 INDRALAYA

This study aimed to develop a local wisdom-based e-module assisted by Book Creator on descriptive text writing material for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya and to determine its feasibility level. The method used in this study was Research and Development (R&D), which referred to the stages of planning. designing, and developing. The subjects of this study consisted of 17 seventh-grade students and two Indonesian language teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, interviews, and expert validation. The needs analysis was based on three aspects, namely necessities, lacks, and wants. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques with a Likert scale. The results of the needs analysis showed that students had a level of need of 77.49% in the aspect of learning objectives, 91.47% in learning material, 81.86% in media presentation, and 80.29% in learning evaluation. Meanwhile, teachers showed a level of need of 95.83% in the aspect of learning objectives, 97.50% in learning material, 100% in media presentation, 95% in learning evaluation, and 100% in learning models. These results indicate that students and teachers need teaching materials that are interactive, attractive, and technology-based in descriptive text writing learning. The product developed was an e-module containing descriptive text material presented systematically, equipped with images, videos, QR codes, and project-based activities integrated with local wisdom. Based on the expert validation results, the developed e-module obtained a percentage of 87.5% in the material aspect, 95% in the media aspect, and 93.1% in the language aspect, all of which were categorized as highly feasible. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the local wisdom-based e-module assisted by Book Creator is highly feasible to be used as teaching material in descriptive text writing learning at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya.
