ANALISIS SIKAP TOLERANSI PESERTA DIDIK TERHADAP PESERTA DIDIK YANG BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS DI SMA NEGERI 2 PALEMBANG
This study aimed to determine students' tolerance attitudes toward students with special needs at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang within the context of inclusive education. This study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population consisted of 360 students, while the sample included 189 respondents selected using the Slovin formula and simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that students' tolerance attitudes toward students with special needs were in the high category. This was indicated by the scores of the following indicators: acceptance of differences 367.2 respect and appreciation 352.9 willingness to cooperate 337.6 fairness and non-discrimination 344.5 and social concern 344.5 These findings indicate that students are able to accept, respect, cooperate with, treat fairly, and show concern for students with special needs within the school environment. In conclusion, students demonstrated positive tolerance attitudes toward students with special needs, which supports the creation of an inclusive school environment.
