PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KREATIVITAS PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DI SMPN 1 INDRALAYA

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ creativity in Civic Education learning at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasiexperimental design using a non-equivalent control group design. The population of the study consisted of all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with class VII F as the experimental group and class VII G as the control group. Data were collected through creativity tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that the significance value was .003 < 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. This finding demonstrates that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model has a significant effect on students’ creativity. Project Based Learning encourages students to think more creatively, actively, and collaboratively through contextual and meaningful project-based learning experiences. Therefore, the Project Based Learning model is effective for use in Civic Education learning.
