ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI KEARIFAN LOKAL YANG TERDAPAT DALAM TRADISI BEBIE DI DESA PAGAR AGUNG KECAMATAN SEMENDE DARAT LAUT MUARA ENIM

This study aims to determine the local wisdom values contained in the bebie tradition in Pagar Agung Village, Semende Darat Laut District, Muara Enim. The researcher used a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The informants in this study numbered 9 people, consisting of 6 main informants and 3 supporting informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that the local wisdom values contained in the bebie tradition are religious values, mutual cooperation values, and character values. Religious values are reflected in a series of puyang pilgrimage activities accompanied by the reading of short verses of the Qur'an and prayers as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT for the harvest and hope for blessings in the next harvest. The value of mutual cooperation is seen through community cooperation in the process of rice harvesting and food preparation, which shows solidarity and togetherness regardless of gender roles. Meanwhile, character values are reflected in respect for traditional customs through the role of experts or meraje as the opener of activities, as well as the polite attitude and social responsibility of the host in inviting the community directly.
