WATERLOOP: MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBANTUAN PLATFORM GENIALLY UNTUK SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR
This scholarly undertaking aspires to devise Waterloop: an interactive didactic medium scaffolded by the Genially platform for learners at the fifth stratum of primary education, centered upon the hydrological cycle, while simultaneously examining its soundness, applicability, and effectiveness. It is framed as a developmental investigation adopting the ADDIE framework, comprising the sequential stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, validation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the media expert validation yielded a percentage of 97.5%, and the subject matter expert validation yielded 93.75%, both categorized as highly valid. Practitioner validation showed an average percentage of 95.31%, categorized as highly valid. The practicality of the media, based on one-to-one and small-group trials, yielded an average percentage of 99.4%, categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness of the media was assessed based on students’ pretest and posttest results, with an average pretest score of 61.86 and a posttest score of 91.87, as well as an N-Gain value of 0.80, categorized as high. The findings of this study indicate that the Waterloop interactive learning media is valid, practical, effective, and suitable for use in teaching the Water Cycle material in the Integrated Science and Environmental Studies (IPAS) curriculum at the elementary school level. Keywords: Development, Interactive Learning Media, Genially, IPAS, Water Cycle.
