MODIFIKASI SMART GREENHOUSE BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) DAN ANALISIS EFISIENSI ENERGI DARI PANEL SURYA
The modification of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart greenhouse and the analysis of solar panel energy efficiency involve a comparative calculation of conventional electrical energy and the electrical energy generated by solar panels used to power the smart greenhouse system. This study aims to compare the electrical energy generated and consumed by solar panels with that of conventional electrical energy in powering the greenhouse system. This research was conducted from January 2026 to May 2026 in the Department of Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Engineering Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive method that included the integration of hardware, software, testing, and the presentation of results in graphical form. The study was conducted by collecting data every half hour from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM WIB; data obtained from tests using solar panels was compared with data generated from tests using conventional electricity. This device can measure environmental conditions inside the greenhouse, namely, temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, electric current, and voltage and can also control greenhouse environmental conditions using actuators. Environmental control can be performed remotely via the internet using a Node-RED dashboard. The data results will be displayed in real time on Node-RED and saved to a MySQL database in CSV format. The comparison results show an average percentage difference of 29.14.
