ANALISIS PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PROGRAM PEMBUATAN COCOMESH DI RUMAH KREATIF SRIWIJAYA KOTA LAHAT

This study aims to determine community empowerment through the cocomesh making program at the Sriwijaya Creative House, Lahat City. The method used was a qualitative case study approach, with research subjects consisting of managers, facilitators, and community members involved in the program. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation,and were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the empowerment strategy was implemented through skills training, production assistance, and marketing facilitation, which encouraged active community participation. This program had a positive impact in the form of increased income, job opportunities, and increased community skills and independence. Supporting factors included the availability of raw materials, support from institutions and partners, while barriers included limited human resources, equipment, and market access. Overall, this program is effective in developing local potential and improving community welfare.
