PENGARUH INVESTASI ASING LANGSUNG (FDI), INFLASI, DAN PENGELUARAN PEMERINTAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI LIMA NEGARA ASEAN
This study aims to analyze the effect of foreign direct investment (FDI), inflation, and government expenditure on economic growth in ASEAN-5 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. This study uses secondary data in the form of panel data for the period 1990–2024, which is analyzed using panel data regression methods. The results of the study using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach indicate that foreign direct investment (FDI) has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while inflation and government expenditure have a negative and significant effect on economic growth. These findings suggest that an increase in foreign investment inflows can promote economic growth, whereas price instability and inefficient government expenditure may hinder economic growth in the ASEAN region. Keywords: Economic Growth, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Inflation, Government Expenditure
