EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS LITERASI MOTORIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PJOK KELAS V SD NEGERI TALANG NYAMUK
Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning at the elementary school level plays an important role in developing students’ motor skills and character; however, a preliminary study conducted at SD Negeri Talang Nyamuk revealed low learning motivation and learning outcomes among fifth-grade students. This study aimed to examine the effect of a motor literacy based learning model on students’ learning motivation, PJOK learning outcomes, and their simultaneous effects. The study employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. Affective outcomes were measured using a PJOK learning motivation questionnaire, while psychomotor outcomes were assessed through a volleyball underhand passing skill test. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test and repeated measures MANOVA. The hypothesis testing results indicated that (H1) the motor literacy based learning model had a significant effect on PJOK learning motivation, (H2) had a significant effect on PJOK learning outcomes, and (H3) had a simultaneous significant effect on both learning motivation and learning outcomes, as evidenced by significant differences between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05) and a Partial Eta Squared (η²p) value of 0.659, indicating a large effect size. These findings imply that the motor literacy based learning model is effective for implementation in elementary school PJOK learning to enhance student engagement, movement understanding, learning motivation, and learning outcomes in a sustainable manner, and may serve as a reference for developing more contextual and innovative PJOK instructional practices.
