PERKEMBANGAN PEMBANGUNAN DI PROVINSI DKI JAKARTA TAHUN 2012-2022
This study examines the development of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta during the period 2012–2022 as a decade of intensive urban transformation. The study focuses on the dynamics of physical and non-physical development, factors influencing policy direction, and their impact on spatial planning, social structure, and community life. The research uses a historical method with heuristic, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography stages. Primary sources include official archives of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, statistical data from the DKI Jakarta Central Statistics Agency, the governor's accountability reports, and development documentation. Meanwhile, secondary sources include relevant books and scientific articles. The analysis was conducted chronologically and multidisciplinarily through economic, political, sociological, and cultural approaches. The results of the study show that Jakarta's development is not only oriented towards economic growth but also towards infrastructure modernization, digitization of public services, improvement of human resource quality, and governance reform. The acceleration of mass transportation, settlement planning, and the development of the smart city concept are the main indicators of physical development, while education, health, and bureaucratic reform programs reflect non-physical development. Political factors, leadership dynamics, urbanization, and a service-based economic structure play a significant role in determining the direction of development. The impact is evident in the transformation of urban spatial planning, changes in the social structure of urban communities, and increased economic productivity, although disparities between regions and social groups remain a challenge.
