ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PENDINGIN AKTIF LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM BERBASIS TEC1- 12706 DENGAN MIST COOLING SYSTEM BERBASIS ULTRASONIC ATOMIZER PADA PANEL SURYA MONOKRISTALIN 20 WP
An increase in solar radiation leads to a higher output power of photovoltaic panels; however, higher solar radiation also raises the surface temperature of the panels, which can reduce the efficiency of electrical energy conversion. Therefore, a cooling system is required to maintain the panel temperature. This study compares the performance of a Liquid Cooling System, which uses TEC1-12706 as its main component, and a Mist Cooling System, which uses an ultrasonic atomizer as its main component, while also analyzing which cooling method is more efficient in reducing temperature and increasing the output power of photovoltaic panels. The experiment was conducted over 14 days, with data collected from 07:00 to 17:00 WIB. The results show that the panel with the Liquid Cooling System achieved the highest output power of 21.3154 W with an efficiency of 31.53%, the panel with the Mist Cooling System reached a maximum output power of 20.8809 W with an efficiency of 30.89%, while the panel without cooling produced 16.4064 W with an efficiency of 24.27%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that both the Liquid Cooling System and the Mist Cooling System improve the performance of photovoltaic panels compared to panels without cooling.
