ANALISIS SISTEM PENDINGIN HIBRIDA: LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM BERBASIS TEC1-12706 DAN MIST COOLING SYSTEM BERBASIS ULTRASONIC ATOMIZER DALAM MENINGKATKAN DAYA LUARAN PANEL SURYA MONOKRISTALIN 20 WP
Solar panels are devices used to convert photons from solar radiation into electrical energy through the photovoltaic mechanism. During the energy conversion process, the solar radiation received by the panel can cause an increase in the panel surface temperature. This temperature rise can reduce the electrical output power generated. Therefore, a cooling system is required to reduce the panel surface temperature so that the output produced remains optimal. This study aims to analyze the use of a Liquid Cooling System based on TEC1-12706 and a Mist Cooling System based on an Ultrasonic Atomizer on the output power and efficiency of a 20 Wp monocrystalline solar panel. The testing was conducted for 14 days by comparing a panel equipped with a cooling system and a control panel without cooling. The experimental results show that the use of this cooling system is able to increase the output power and efficiency of the solar panel. Based on the test data, the highest efficiency produced by the solar panel with cooling reached 30.27%, while the solar panel without cooling only achieved a maximum efficiency of 27.82%. This result indicates that the cooling system can increase the output power by 1.4 W and the efficiency by 2.4%. Thus, the use of a Liquid Cooling System based on TEC1-12706 and a Mist Cooling System based on an Ultrasonic Atomizer can improve the output power and efficiency of solar panels.
