DETERMINASI PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI PADA PROVINSI DENGAN PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI TERENDAH DI INDONESIA

Disparities in economic growth across regions remain a major issue in Indonesia’s development process, particularly in provinces with relatively low economic growth compared to others. This study aims to analyze the effect of Domestic Investment (PMDN), road infrastructure, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on economic growth in five provinces with the lowest economic growth in Indonesia. The data used are panel data from Aceh, Riau, Bangka Belitung Islands, Bali, and East Kalimantan for the period 2015-2024. The analytical method employed is panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The results show that Domestic Investment has a negative and significant effect, road infrastructure has no significant effect, while the Human Development Index has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Simultaneously, Domestic Investment, road infrastructure, and the Human Development Index have a significant effect on economic growth. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of domestic investment management, improvement in human development quality, and strengthening of infrastructure are crucial aspects in promoting sustainable regional economic growth.
