PENGARUH KOMBINASI TIGA JENIS PEWARNA ALAMI TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK KELISTRIKAN PADA DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL (DSSC)
Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) is a third-generation solar cell technology with low cost and environmentally friendly characteristics. Its performance is strongly influenced by the type of sensitizer, where natural dyes such as anthocyanins, curcuminoids, and flavonoids show potential as alternatives to synthetic dyes, although their efficiency remains low when used individually. This study aims to analyze the effect of combining anthocyanins from Ipomoea batatas, curcuminoids from Curcuma xanthorrhiza, and flavonoids from Rhodomyrtus tomentosa on the electrical characteristics of DSSC. An experimental method was employed using mixed dye compositions on TiO₂ layers. The parameters measured include open-circuit voltage (Voc), short-circuit current density (Jsc), fill factor (FF), and power conversion efficiency (η) under AM 1.5G solar simulation (100 mW/cm²). The results show that the combination of natural dyes enhances light absorption and improves DSSC performance compared to single-dye systems.
