ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN DAYA KELUARAN THERMOELECTRIC GENERATOR DENGAN SISTEM PENDINGIN HEATSINK DAN SISTEM PENDINGIN ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANEL (ACP) BERLUBANG PADA PEMANFAATAN SUMBER PANAS SETRIKA
This study aims to analyze the comparison of output power of a Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) using two cooling systems, namely a heatsink and a perforated Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP), utilizing heat from an electric iron as the energy source. The method involved designing two identical TEG prototypes using four SP1848 modules connected in series, differing only in the cooling system on the cold side. Testing was conducted at temperatures ranging from 142.6°C to 175.7°C, with parameters including temperature, voltage, current, and output power. The results show that increasing temperature is directly proportional to the increase in temperature difference (ΔT), voltage, current, and power. The heatsink prototype demonstrated better performance. The maximum power of the heatsink reached 1.57497 W at ΔT 42.4°C, while the perforated ACP produced 1.26559 W at ΔT 35.9°C. It is concluded that the heatsink is more effective, producing a higher ΔT and improving TEG output power compared to ACP.
