PRAKTIKALITAS KONSUMSI SEBAGAI FAKTOR PENGARUH WILLINGNESS TO PAY (WTP) MAHASISWA TERHADAP MANGGA POTONG SIAP KONSUMSI
This study aimed to analyze the level of willingness to pay (WTP) among university students for ready-to-eat sliced mango compared to whole mangoes and to examine the influence of consumption practicality on the decision willingness to pay. The research used a quantitative approach through a simple experimental survey involving 100 student respondents from Sriwijaya University. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire covering respondent characteristics, visual product assessment, perceived practicality, and willingness to pay. Data analysis was conducted using a binary logistic regression model, with the dependent variable representing the students’ decision to be willing or unwilling to pay an added price. The independent variables include age, gender, fruit consumption frequency, monthly allowance, parents’ income, visual acceptance, practicality, and additional price levels. The results of this study were expected to provide insights into the factors influencing students’ willingness to pay for ready-to-eat fruit products and contribute to the development of marketing strategies for practical and value-added healthy food products among young consumers. Keywords: binary logistic regression, consumption practicality, ready-to-eat sliced mango, willingness to pay (WTP).
