ANALISIS FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MOTIVASI BEROLAHRAGA SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 TANJUNG BATU
This study aims to determine the level of sports motivation of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu and to identify the most dominant factor between internal and external factors. This research is a descriptive quantitative study using a survey method. The population in this study were all grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu, totaling 216 students, with a research sample of 36 students from class XI.6 selected through a purposive sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale, consisting of 45 statements that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique employed descriptive statistics with percentages. The results showed that the level of sports motivation of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu was in the Very High category with an average percentage of 81.17%. In terms of its components, the psychological aspect reached 81.44%, the social aspect 81.11%, the physical aspect 81.06%, and the non-social aspect 81.06%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the internal factor, specifically the psychological aspect (personal interest and enjoyment), is the most dominant factor influencing students' sports motivation.
